Plan
Mark leads this stage. He handles all planning, pricing and pre-build items with you, so your lot, floor plan, budget and scope are settled before construction begins and there are no surprises. Don’t have a lot yet? That’s fine too, and we can help with that.

Design
Emily leads Irie Interiors, and her team guides you through the selection process: finishes, fixtures, cabinetry and lighting, chosen together so the house feels finished the day you walk in.

Build
Collin, our site superintendent, runs every job site and handles the day-to-day project management, so there is always one person on site who knows where your build stands. You are kept up to date along the way.

Live
Peace within, through the build and for the years you will spend inside it.

Common questions
Where does Irie Homes build?
We build in and around 30 minutes from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. If you already have a lot, great. If you are still looking for one, that is fine too, and we can help with that. Call us and we will talk it through.
Do I need to own a lot before I contact you?
No. Many people reach out before they have land, and that is fine. If you do not have a lot yet, we can help with that. Tell us what you are looking for and we will talk it through. If you already have one, we will look at it together.
Who will I work with during my custom home build?
Mark handles all planning, pricing and pre-build items. Emily leads Irie Interiors, and her team handles the selection process. Collin, our site superintendent, handles all job sites and day-to-day project management.
How does the custom home building process work?
Four steps: plan, design, build, live. Mark settles your lot, floor plan, pricing and scope before construction begins. Emily's Irie Interiors team guides your selections. Collin runs the job site day to day, and you are kept up to date throughout.
What does Irie Interiors do?
Irie Interiors is the design side of Irie Homes. Emily and her team guide you through the selection process, including finishes, fixtures, cabinetry and lighting, so your home feels finished the day you walk in.
Can I start from a floor plan you have already built?
Yes. Our Plans page shows 23 floor plans with room sizes, and photos of homes we have built from many of them. Tap the heart on the ones you love and we will email them to you. You can ask us to build one as drawn, or adapt it to your lot and the way you live.
Does Irie Homes do remodels as well as new homes?
Yes. Alongside new custom homes we also do remodels, such as our Oak Grove Remodel and Ushers Ridge Remodel, which you can see on the Homes page.
How do I follow my build once it starts?
Every client gets access to our online client portal, where you can follow your project from start to finish.
