Information you give us
When you fill out a form on this site, we collect the details you enter, such as your name, phone number, email address and a description of your project. We use this to respond to you, schedule conversations and keep in touch about building with Irie Homes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing mark@iriehomes.com.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this site records basic technical information when you visit, such as the pages you view, your device and browser type, your approximate location and your IP address. We may use analytics and visitor-identification services provided by third parties that place cookies or similar technologies in your browser to recognize return visits and help us understand who is interested in our homes. Where permitted by law, these services may match a visit to contact information already in their databases so that we can follow up with relevant information.
What we learn from how you browse
To understand which homes and plans people care about, we run a small analytics script of our own. It records, against a random anonymous ID stored in your browser, which pages and photos you open, how long you spend on them, how far you scroll, which buttons you tap, the website you came from and your device type. It does not record what you type into forms. Your IP address is turned into a one-way code and is never stored in readable form. This information stays on our own website hosting and is not sold or sent to an analytics company. If you send us an inquiry, we may connect your earlier visits to it so we can see which homes interested you and give you a better first conversation. The script does not run if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and schedule a conversation about your build.
- To send occasional updates about Irie Homes, which you can opt out of at any time.
- To understand how people use the site, see which homes and plans interest visitors, and improve it.
- To follow up with relevant information after you have contacted us or been identified as a visitor.
Email addresses
If you give us your email address, for example in the contact form or to have a home emailed to you, we keep it with your inquiry, use it to reply, and may email you from time to time about building with Irie Homes. We note which homes and plans you looked at on this site so we can follow up with what is relevant. Reply “stop” to any message, or email mark@iriehomes.com, and we will stop emailing you and remove your details if you ask.
Saved plans
On the Plans pages you can tap a heart to save a plan. Your saved plans stay in your own browser, on your device, until you choose to email them to yourself. If you do, we use your email address to send you links to those plans, and we keep your email address with the list of plans you saved so Mark and Emily can follow up if you reach out. We only send you occasional updates about building a custom home if you tick the separate box that is shown, which is never ticked for you, and you can unsubscribe at any time by replying “stop” to any email. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we do not connect your email request to the pages you browsed, and we do not count your hearts.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run this website, deliver email and manage leads, and only as needed for those purposes.
Cookies and your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To opt out of marketing emails or texts, reply to any message or contact us directly. To have your information removed from our records, email mark@iriehomes.com.
